Brand Collaboration: Fuller Peak Performance

Stable, grounded, raw, strong, confident, fluid, free, playfulness, authenticity — these were just a few of the words Nicole came up with when tasked with the story she wanted her brand to tell.

This is the second time Nicole and I have collaborated for her brand. For this brand story photo session, we wanted to head out to the lakeshore just as the sun was setting and the Eastern sky was cotton candy pink. We both live in the wonderful Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago and find the Lake Michigan’s shores a peaceful respite among the hustle of city living. We had been planning this photo session for months, and on an early September evening, we rode our bikes along the lake path to some of my favorite spots to capture Nicole as authentic, strong, confident, grounded, and raw. (And yes, I am happy to ride bikes, trek, etc if it means making it to that extra special location for your photoshoot!)

I’ve known Nicole for several years. We met at the yoga studio I used to teach at (during my photography hiatus, I was a yoga teacher). It’s been inspiring to watch Nicole grown from a yoga student, to a yoga teacher, and now to a yoga mentor and a life coach. She just celebrated the one year anniversary of her coaching business, Fuller Peak Performance. I am so proud of her for trusting her gut, quitting the career that was draining her time and energy, and pursuing her passion of lovingly guiding others to reach their full potential. Everything Nicole does is from the heart, and because of this, one is easily uplifted in her presence. I am proud to call her a friend and now a creative collaborator!
